New build snagging inspections (NBS inspections) was set up during the first lock-down of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

After spending 7 years as a site manager, Dean, the owner of NBS inspections decided to set up the company due to becoming increasingly frustrated with the new build industry as a whole.

Having spent the 13 years prior to becoming a site manager as a site carpenter, Dean knew he had the skills and technical knowledge to help home buyers who may not be able to recognise, or be aware of the types of problems that can be found in a new build home.

Since its inception, NBS inspections has grown to become one of the most trusted companies in the industry. Dean is no longer on his own, helped by a small, yet highly skilled and dedicated team, NBS inspections has gone from strength to strength.

We truly believe that our inspectors are the best in the business and that the inspections and reports we produce are the most thorough in the industry.

All our inspectors have held the position of site manager for at least 5 years before joining us. They also have a solid trade background and know new build homes inside out, as well as all the tricks of the trades. You can rest assured your home is in good hands with us.

 

All of our inspectors are members of the Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA), have a degree or NVQ L6 in construction as well as their trade related qualifications. They all also hold the Black managers CSCS card. We are more than happy to provide proof of our qualifications.

Our inspectors are fully up to date with the latest building and warranty provider regulations.

We offer ongoing support and advice to our clients and regularly check in to see how things are progressing.

We are more than happy to share example reports with you and have reports available from most of the developers. We share full reports of actual previous inspection we have undertaken.

The physical inspection takes us on average 7 hours to do. When including the write up of the report, we spend an average of 10 hours on every individual home.
